Quantitative and qualitative analysis of phytoplankton
Algae Analysis specializes in conducting quantitative and qualitative analyzes of phytoplankton, strictly following the guidelines established in the "Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater". Our analysis encompasses both the quantitative assessment and qualitative identification of phytoplankton present in water samples. Each sample submitted for our analysis is meticulously processed by a highly qualified taxonomist, specialized in the field, with in-depth knowledge of the characteristics and taxonomy of phytoplankton species.
In the identification stage, phytoplankton species are determined down to the lowest taxonomic level, that is, down to the species level. The result of this process is compiled into a detailed technical report, which provides comprehensive information about the composition and density of phytoplankton populations in the sample.
Algae Analysis also carries out specific quantitative and qualitative analyzes of cyanobacteria, following the standards established in CONAMA Resolution No. 357, of March 17, 2005, and GM/MS Ordinance No. 888, of May 4, 2021. These guidelines are essential to assess water quality and ensure it meets environmental safety standards.
Our mission is to provide accurate and reliable information essential for environmental management, scientific research and water quality monitoring. Through our expertise in analyzing phytoplankton and cyanobacteria, we contribute to the conservation of aquatic ecosystems, helping our clients make informed decisions and promote environmental sustainability. Algae Analysis is committed to being a reference of excellence in this field, aiming to preserve and understand aquatic environments around the world.
